Pastor Mike Brown
Kendall Park Baptist Church
Dear Friend,
It is with great pleasure I recommend to you Dan and Rachael Brown, missionaries appointees to the Country of Madagascar. This family is well loved here at Kendall Park Baptist Church. Their departure was with bitter-sweet emotions.
Dan and Rachael are humble servants of our Lord. Dan has faithfully served as our Assistant Pastor for four years. His responsibilities include Director of Music, Visitation Coordinator, Teen Leader, AWANA Commander, Web Coordinator and heavily involved in other Technical Projects and Carpenter/Handyman on several big projects. Somewhere in between he finds time to be a husband, dad and friend to many. The old adage, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is, does not apply in this case. Everything that Dan has volunteered to do he has done extremely well and he has done it with a smile on his face and joy in his heart.
Dan and Rachael came to us here at Kendall Park Baptist Church with the understanding that God had called them to the mission field. In pursuit of this, they would temporarily serve the Lord in local church ministries in whatever capacity needed. God has called and they have prepared. The need for fundamental, Baptist church planters is great in Madagascar, a country of some twenty three million people. It is our privilege to be their commissioning Church and will do our part in prayerfully and financially supporting them while on the field.
Alton Beal, President
Ambassador Baptist College
Every year, graduates leave the campus of Ambassador with a heart to go to the mission field. Some immediately head out on deputation while others continue their preparation in local church ministry. It has been a delight to see how God has prepared Dan and Rachael Brown for mission work in Madagascar.
As students at ABC, they both manifested a genuine love for the Lord and His work. In local church ministry after graduation, they both have demonstrated a spiritual maturity and continued burden for evangelizing the world. I am excited about the work that God is doing in an through Dan and Rachael and ask you to prayerfully consider becoming a partner with their ministry.
